Welcome, this post will guide you through our Evaluation Process.
The information in this post is for new recruits/Clan applicants, it is recommended that you read this post & are familiar with the requirements we need you to meet. You will only be considered for membership if you follow these conditions.
Required Recruit Activity
All new recruits are encouraged to be active on TeamSpeak and to a degree - the Ministry Forums, this will help your chances of being accepted into the [M] ranks.
Our TeamSpeak server can be found at the address: 175.107.158.57:9989 , or alternatively, you can click the “connect” button in the TeamSpeak box on the home page. If you are unfamiliar with TeamSpeak 2.0 we recommend that you read these two posts BEFORE you attempt to connect to the server: TEAMSPEAK TUTORIAL & Teamspeak how to. When you connect you will enter the public channel, please wait until a Captain of the team you are applying for, or our Recruitment Officer, talks to you. They will give you registration in TeamSpeak during your Ministry Evaluation.
Activity within the community shows how much you are willing to contribute to the Clan. Applicants attitude's are measured by good conduct in game, in our forums & within our TeamSpeak. This, plus a display of in-game skill are the requirements that a new recruit must satisfy to gain membership within The Ministry.
Application Criteria
The basic criteria for membership of The Ministry of Gaming is as follows:
- Firstly, you will need to register on the site ( using your in-game soldier name ) if you haven't done so already.
- You must NOT be a member of any other gaming Clan / team.
- 16+ age limit. Exceptions are possible if the individual displays maturity.
- Keen to play in Ladder matches with the team you apply for. ( This should be the main reason you are applying. )
- New Applicants must be active on Ministry’s TeamSpeak to get as much game time with Ministry members as possible.
- A link to player stats will be needed & a higher than average KDR plus Teamwork score will be an advantage.
The Ministry Of Gaming currently has Teams that compete in:
- BattleField 2142 - GameArena 8v8 Ladder
Community Members are expected to play for a Ladder team if they are accepted, of course we socially play other games, but we prefer that people join to contribute to one of our Ladder teams before any other activity.
The Evaluation
To gain Full membership you will need to go through an Evaluation period. During this time you should attempt to spend as much time as you can online with Clan members. You will need to impress, or at least demonstrate:
- display of In-Game Skill
- good Forum/TeamSpeak Conduct
- good In-Game Conduct
- and generally being active in our Clan community.
It is STRONGLY advised that at this point you read our Public Server Code of Conduct and make sure you abide by it at all times - during your evaluation & afterwards, if you are accepted.
This process is envisioned to take 1-2 weeks depending on the amount of time you can spend online. This time may vary & is by no means "set in stone". During that time current Clan members will post up their comments in our "Recruit Evaluation" Forum, your membership will be determined by their input.
When applying, please post this information in the topic title:
- In-Game Soldier Name.
- The team you wish to apply for.
- eg. *YOUR Gaming alias/name* - 2142 team application

What happens now?
Once you have posted an application one of our Team Captains will respond to notify you that your application is under review. Your Ministry Evaluation will then commence & you should login to our TeamSpeak server as soon as possible and meet our friendly / helpful Ministry members so the evaluation process can begin. Remember, the way you act & perform in game with Ministry members will determine if you are accepted into the Clan.
